What is MS office portable software???

what is the difference between normal ms office software and this portable software??

regular software can only be used on the computer it was installed on. portable software can be used from a portable device on any computer that device is attached to.

example ms office regular can only be used on your computer where if you installed portable on a portable hard drive you can run it off any computer you attach your portable hard drive too.
